I get a lot of questions like, ‘how’s the campaign going?’ I don’t really know what to say. Most of the campaign work I’ve been doing is trying to think of solutions. I guess when I decided to run for governor, I thought I knew what needed to be done to make the world sustainable. If I were to be elected I would just implement all those ideas.

But now I’m realizing it’s not that cut and dry. How many modern luxuries can we afford? Any? Is golf sustainable at all? How can you not use plastic and yet still sell meat? Can solar panels be built sustainably in mass quantities. Can campaign flyers be printed sustainably?

So I’ve been doing a lot of research. I’m still comitted to the campaign, though i’m also spending a lot of time that could be spent on the campaign just trying to make sense of the world.
